Changkham Dok Mok White Tea | Pure Wild Essence from the Chiang Mai Highlands

Terroir & Origin

Grown in the high-elevation sanctuary of Doi Saket (Thep Sadet), Chiang Mai, between 1,300 and 1,400 meters above sea level. Perched on rare nutrient-rich black humus soil, wild ancient tea trees thrive under a dense forest canopy alongside diverse native flora, sustaining an intact and pristine woodland ecosystem.

Plucking Standard & Craftsmanship

  • Harvest: Loose leaf, First Flush of May 2026 (One bud, two leaves)
  • Method: Traditional Natural Withering (Gentle indoor withering followed by slow sun-drying), unrolled and unfired to preserve vibrant trichomes and cellular integrity.

Flavor & Tasting Profile

  • Top Notes: Wild floral pollen, crystalline rock sugar, crisp melon
  • Heart Notes: Sacred Dok Mok (Water Jasmine), fresh shell ginger leaf (Alpinia zerumbet)
  • Base Notes: Tender mulberry leaf, natural flax, transparent acacia honey

Subtle, elegant, and uniquely northern Thai in character. The liquor coats the palate with tender silver pekoe and velvety pollen, balancing natural simplicity with delicate complexity. A bright rock-sugar sweetness is mirrored by pristine white florals and herbal freshness, finishing with clean, nectar-like honey notes.

Cultural Heritage & Meditative Ritual

In Northern Thai tradition, the Dok Mok blossom symbolizes liberation, detachment from mundane distractions, and enduring inner peace. Designed as a calming sensory ritual, each cup invites stillness, grounding, and a seamless return to nature.
